Coming to the conclusion to sell a home doesn’t just happen by chance. There are usually outside circumstances that make moving a necessity rather than just liking the moving process. Situations like a growing family or moving jobs top the charts as reasons for people to sell their homes. When either of those is the case, selling quickly is usually a plus, but it shouldn’t be the only factor to consider.

Many real estate agents will encourage you to sell your home quickly – that may mean accepting an offer you may not necessarily like. They’ll tell you it’s in your best interest – that the longer your home sits on the market the worse off you are. Some of what they’ll tell you is true, and all of what they’ll tell you they probably believe whole heartedly themselves.

Hagan’s agents have a different view. Always keeping in mind that the home selling process is much of the time stressful and painful, as you’ll probably be looking to buy a home as well, we don’t want to rush the process. Other agencies believe the faster their turn over, the more profit they can make. For Hagan’s agents, it isn’t about turning over a higher number of properties, it’s about getting the highest selling price out of each home we sell.

We take time before we put your home on the market to get it ready. Our staff photographer, writer, stager, and Marketing Director will make sure you have the best chance in the market to succeed. Because it is true that the longer your home sits on the market, the lesser the chances for a high percent of return, we make sure everything you need is completed before we put the sign in the yard. From the time you ask us to be your agent, we will work tirelessly to prepare your home.

Sometimes people need to sell quickly, and we understand that too. Your priorities are our priorities. You give us a time frame, and we’ll do everything we can to get your home sold in that time frame. No one wants to drag the selling process for longer than it needs to take, but the pains our agents and staff take to sell your home leaves far less for you to worry about. We know buying and selling homes is big business, and we don’t take it lightly.
