Cliff Bernstein

Though Cliff is a born and bred New Yorker, having grown up in Bronx, he has spent much of his adult life in Maryland. He's lived in Towson, Columbia, Ellicott City, and Frederick. He has settled in Germantown and also has a home in York, Pennsylvania. Cliff's own experiences have given him a unique understanding of the housing market in the DC area.

School originally brought Cliff to the Maryland suburbs, where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Towson University. He then went on to earn his Master of Education degree from Loyola College in Baltimore.

Cliff is a retired teacher, after having been in the classroom for more than 30 years. It is that profession which has helped him to develop key skills our clients have come to value. He's a great listener, and knows the value of giving his clients all the information they need to make a knowledgable decision about their future.

Cliff started his second career in real estate in 2002 working for Keller Williams Home Town Realty in Ellicott City before joining the Hagan Realty team. Working in real estate has always been a hobby and passion for Cliff, and he enjoys every moment he gets to work with clients to help them fulfill their dreams of homeownership.

When he isn't in a classroom or showing a home, Cliff likes to be outside. He's been the director of various summer camps and is an educational consultant for the U.S. Forest Service. He is an avid tennis player and has a hard time turning down the opportunity to play a little golf.

My wife and I have known Cliff for many years. He is a thorough and detail oriented real estate professional who takes the time to match up house features with a client's wish list. He helped up find the perfect home when we were looking to downsize after the kids moved on. The best part was, he made it fun and the process was enjoyable.

As first time home buyers, this was a new experience for us. Cliff couldn't have made it a more seamless, educational and comfortable experience! He took his time, showed us everything we wanted to see and helped us ultimately find our first home! From the house hunting process all the way through to the closing table, Cliff was with us every step of the way. We will be forever grateful for his knowledge, expertise and care. He will certainly be our first call when the time comes again in the future! Highly recommend.
